Miyamoto International Unlawful Harassment Policy
Miyamoto International is committed to providing a work environment free of harassment, disrespectful or other unprofessional conduct. Company policy prohibits conduct that is unwelcome, unlawful, disrespectful, unprofessional as well as harassment based on sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), race, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), color, gender (including gender identity and gender expression), national origin or ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, marital status, registered domestic partner status, age, sexual orientation, military and veteran status or any other basis protected by federal, state or local law or ordinance or regulation. All such conduct violates company policy. The Company’s anti-harassment policy applies to all persons involved in the operation of the Company and prohibits harassment, disrespectful or unprofessional conduct by any staff member of the Company, including managers, as well as vendors, customers, independent contractors and any other persons. It also prohibits harassment, disrespectful or unprofessional conduct based on the perception that anyone has any of those characteristics, or is associated with a person who has or is perceived as having any of those characteristics. Session A - All Employees - All employees must complete the one-hour training session. This session includes updated information on the legal and behavioral issues associated with harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and includes a discussion of bullying and abusive conduct. Complete the video training, review the poster, then take the short quiz.
Session B - Managers, supervisors, and team leaders must complete both Session A and Session B, including the videos, activities, and tests to comply with the two-hour requirement.
After each test, a certificate of completion will be emailed to you and the employer will maintain the records.
