Harassment and Violence Prevention Training
The DuPage County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing a work environment that is free of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and disrespectful or unprofessional conduct or biases protected by federal, state, or local laws, ordinances or policies. The State of Illinois mandates that this training be completed each year.
There are two topics, each with Session A (for all employees) and a supplemental Session B for administration and supervisors.
Session A - All Employees - All employees must complete the one-hour training session. This session includes the legal and behavioral issues associated with harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, and includes a discussion of bullying and abusive conduct. Complete the video training, then take the short quiz. All employees are to review Policy 311 “Workplace Violence” and Policy 315 “Discriminatory Harassment.”
Session B - Administration and Supervisors must complete both Session A and Session B, including both the videos, activities, and tests. Supervisors are to review Policy 1024 “Personnel Complaints.”
After each test, a link to the certificate of completion will be emailed back to you and your employer will receive the training record and a link to the certificate.
Before you begin, be certain you have a full hour to dedicate to each of the training modules.
