State Posters

If you operate in multiple states, your employees will need access to the federal and state mandated posters.

The federal government requires that you post five posters in the hiring AND work location. The posters must be hung in an area that is frequented by employees (such as a break room, open office area, the HR location, or other). The five federal posters are: (1) EEO - Know Your Rights; (2) Employee Polygraph Protection Act; (3) Occupational Safety and Health Act; (4) Fair Labor Standards Act; and (5) Family and Medical Leave Act. Most states also have their own posting requirements.

The requirement gets tricky with remote employees. Our suggestion is that new hires access these links in the onboarding process.

Employment Posters (Federal and State)
